This program allows the user to "remotely" manage his play lists using the mouse.

My idea for this program came when I just bought my new laptop computer. My room was really small and I used to sleep listening to music. It was really hard for me to get out from my bed during winter time, only to lower the volume ou skip a track in the Windows Media Player.

Accessing my play lists with the mouse was a great solution for this issue.

The main program and the Interop.WMPLib.dll must be placed in the same directory as the play list files.
After double-click the program the screen will be totally gray, allowing the following commands:

  • Right button click: goes to next track
  • Left button click: goes to previous track
  • Middle button click: skip to next play list
  • Mouse wheel up: volume up
  • Mouse wheel down: volume down
  • Double click (any button): closes the application

System Requirements

Framework: .NET 1.0
Install: N/A

WmpMouseControl.exe Main application
